A bit of spinach

We had the first taste of fresh spinach today. I did a little thinning out of the plants. It was yummy. I'd forgotten how much I really like spinach when it's fresh. I added it to our scrambled eggs this morning along with a snipping of chives. Cappuccino, my bunny, enjoyed the stems so none of it was wasted.
The garden is looking good. The second planting of radishes is starting to come up. Haven't seen any sign of the beans or rapini yet, though.
Now that June is approaching, I'm going to start checking out the U-pick places. I'm pretty sure strawberries start in a few weeks. Unlike blueberries, I don't like strawberries frozen. This means that when we pick I need to be ready to make jam.
